I HATE ITUNES.

itunes is the biggest piece of crap media player/library that i have ever seen in my entire life. It completely monopolizes anything that that is not itunes or apple. I hate it. I want it to die. It can't even do simple tasks like get rid of duplicates without erasing your entire library, along with all your purchased music which you cannot get back unless you buy it again apparently. I hate it all.

i have the same feelings. when i start itunes on my computer, the whole thing freezes up and you can go out for a coffee before you can expect to do anything with it. i switched over to quintessential media player a while ago. much better.

I have a solution to your songs skipping in iTunes problem. Don’t use iTunes.

Let’s see, my biggest complaints about iTunes are:
    – Auto-synch – for those of us with smaller iPods than our entire music collection, there’s just no easy way to auto-synch. I love that it makes a playlist of enough random songs to fill my iPod, and yet every time it makes such a list, all of the songs are EXACTLY the same.
    – Unless auto-synch is turned on, ratings and playback counts cannot be synched from my iPod to iTunes.
    – iTunes’ horrific proprietary tagging. Volume, playback count, rating, etc. are not transferable into other media players.
    – My number one reason is this – Apple has successfully managed to convince the overwhelming majority of iPod owners that iTunes is absolutely necessary to manage their music. iTunes’ proprietary features, lack of ease-of-use, and unfamiliar interface to PC users has confused most people into thinking its iTunes or iNothing. This invariably leads to Apple’s firmer grasp on the already strong foothold of web-based music stores and mp3 players. So please, use iTunes. After all, what has competition ever done for the marketplace?

Try Mediamonkey. With about a thousand more options, and iPod-friendly (as well as the ability to transfer songs from iPod to PC), it’s just about the best program out there. And the free version is all you’ll ever really need.

I cannot for life of me figure this damn piece of crap out. I’m not a dumb guy; I usually pick things up things really quickly but this absolutely sh*t program has me stumped a lot of the time…

Bush is forever saying that democracies do not invade other countries and start wars. Well, he did just that. He invaded Iraq, started a war, and killed people. What do you think? How does that work in a democracy again? How does being more threatening make us more likeable?Isn’t the country with
the most weapons the biggest threat to the rest of the world? When one country is the biggest threat to the rest of the world, isn’t that likely to be the most hated country?
If ever there was ever a time in our nation’s history that called for a change, this is it!
The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren’t living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.
